The 1903 "Basket Ball" Guide for Women is the third example in this series. The first women's guide was Spalding guide #106. Research indicates that this guide was issued in October of 1899. The second guide was #141A, published in October, 1901. I am still looking for an 1899 example. These guides are incredibly difficult to find. I was able to find this 1903 example on Ebay on May 17, 2005. Senda Berenson, the "Mother of Women's Basket Ball", is the editor of these early women's editions.
