This is another ultra rare item. During the week of November 8-14, 1923, Winchester issued a series of "Display and Showcase Cards". These cards came in an envelope illustrating all display cards from that issuance or series. In this case, card series #9 for Winchester contained two basketball cards. They would have sat on top of a showcase in a Winchester Store. Winchester frames were made specifically to fit these cards. The smaller card actually fits horizontally in the frame. For the sake of preservation and better display, I'm showing it vertically in the frame. These are almost impossible items to acquire. I was able to buy these from the same Winchester super-collector who sold me the 5-Panel Advertising piece in 2012.
