The Fine Points of Basketball Offense: John Wooden was nicknamed the "Wizard of Westwood". As head coach at UCLA he won ten NCAA national championships in a 12-year period, including seven in a row. At one point, his teams won a record 88 consecutive games. He was named national coach of the year six times. Wooden was also a player in the late 1920s and early 30s at Purdue University.
