This is one of my favorite basketball books. Nat Holman was a star basketball player at New York University; was an Original Celtic, and had a long coaching career. Scientific Basketball, published in 1922 is a somewhat difficult book to locate, although not impossible. It is Holman's first book, 123 pages in length and produced only in softback to my knowledge.
