Naismith Autographed Card - 1939
Description:
This is a 1939 James Naismith autographed "Basketball" card. The text reads, "James Naismith, Lawrence Kans, 1939." It is written in black fountain pen ink. The card measures 2.5" wide x 4" tall and came with a letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA. It was purchased in the Heritage Naismith auction on December 8, 2006. What is terrific about this card is that it is not cluttered. It is a simple, clear, autograph. Naismith died later that same year.
