These cards are 6"x 8" in dimension and were given out through redemption coupons that were packed in flat tin containers of 50 cigarettes. These cards, as with all the Hamilton King premiums are quite rare. The card usually has the #8 placed on the card. The American Card Catalog edited by J.R. Burdick classifies these cards as T7, Type 6 cards, referred to as "Sports Girls" in the catalog. The Metropolitan Museum of Art refers to this card as being a "commercial color lithograph". The card shown here was added to the collection on October 3, 2006.
