The first board game in basketball history was produced in 1898 by Selchow and Chaffee, likely acting as a jobber" to manufacture the game for McLoughlin Brothers, Inc. Only 7 years after the inception of basketball, the artwork on this game is spectacular. I know of approximately 5 of these games.
