Basket Ball Rules and Score Blanks - 1894

Luther Halsey Gulick was the editor of the 1895-96 Rules and Score Blanks booklet, published by the New York: International Committee of the Y.M.C.A. - copyright 1894. It provides the official 1895 rules, followed by a series of two page scoring blanks. The booklet says that booklets with 8 blanks cost 10 cents, while booklets with 24 blanks cost 25 cents. This is the smaller sized version of the booklet. The Annotated Bibliography of Literature by Robert M. Bruce indicates that there were three editions of this booklet that were produced from 1893 to 1895.

Rare Album Postcard Acquired - March 1, 2016

Recently, I came across a surprising find - the 1928 Cuban Aguilitas Album Redemption postcard. When I've seen these in the past, they have always been baseball related. This one is basketball themed and shows the same image as card #397, the HNOS Maristas. The seller of this item said he found it in Cuba three decades ago. It is a nice and une...
